Torre Branca was built in 1933 during the dictatorship of Mussolini by architect Gio Ponti, originally named "Torre Littoria".
After WWII it was renamed "Torre del Parco" (Park Tower) and finally in 2002 it was restructured by the liquor company "Branca" and got the current name.

It is a panoramic tower about 108 meters high, located in Parco Sempione, the park in the historical center of Milano, between Sforza Castle and Arco della Pace.
It offers an amazing 360 degree panoramic view over Milano and if you are lucky with the weather you can see the Alps in the distance as well.

Due to the small size of the elevator and of the platform on the top, the staying is limited to about 5 minutes however the view from there is really worth.
